IMPACT ON STATE
Increasing economic productivity
and reducing spend
Using impact investment to house around 700 wheelchair users could result in a significant economic gain to the state over a 15 year period. This is due to the anticipated increase in tenants gaining employment, and the reduction in the costs associated with care and bed blocking.
“Our quality of life as a family has improved 100% since being in this house that’s adapted. It was no life living in house that wasn’t adapted.”
